At a Crucial Crew event the variety of scenarios are decided upon to represent a wide range of potentially dangerous and challenging situations. At previous Crucial Crew events scenarios have included:

• Run by North Yorkshire Police (costume and script provided by Youth Offending Team)
• Drugs and Alcohol
• Run by Primary Care Trust, School Nurses.
• Bedroom Fire
• Run by North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
• Stranger in the Park
• Run by City of York Council Leisure Services.
• Beach Scene
• Run by Marine and Coast Guard Agency
• Gas Escape
• Run by York Community Watch.
• Railway Danger
• Run by British Transport Police. Arriva Trains and Network Rail.
• Dangers of Electricity
• Run by Northern Electricity.

Each scene has it's own individually scenery made to fit into the rooms available ranging from a oad and houses, music shop, court room, bedroom, living room, and parks.
