Security Marking For Your Bike

Many insurance companies will ask you to security mark your bike. Even if you don’t insure your bike you should still do so, as it means you have a full record of your bike on file somewhere, which could help you to prove its yours if it is stolen and then found by the police.

Always keep a record of your frame number, but ensure you also take a photo of your bike with details of the model number, make, colour and any special details as cycle thieves often remove frame numbers.
